Weekend in Cambria

We stayed at the charming Sea Otter Inn on Moonstone Beach. I love the gardens
and the beach boardwalk across the street. Lots of nature in this little town.

Dave and I walked along the boardwalk twice a day to get our exercise in and enjoy the beauty.

The village is also a fun place to walk with all the cute and interesting shops. A real artist community here.

Just 15 minutes from the inn is where the Elephant Seals come to bread. You will find them
all along the beach from the viewing area. These young ones are playing but the adults can get bloody.

We enjoyed our time so much that we decided to add an extra night.
We checked into the Cambria Pines Lodge. They have evening entertainment in the bar.

I love there gardens here as well. This time of year they have the Christmas lights
and decorations lighting the pathway at night. Fun to stroll through.

On the way home we stopped off at the Monarch Grove. It's amazing all the butterflies here in the trees.

I love to stop in Morro Bay as well. You can usually find the sea otters and sea lions here.

Walking along the village are great shops and more chances to see sea life. Sarah like the taffy store,
they have every flavor imaginable. You can fill a bag by getting a piece of each flavor.
